    Getting started

    Make your first prompt count

A little context can make an answer much more useful.

You do not need special syntax to use askdodo. Start by saying what you are trying to do and what a good result would look like.

Give the model something to work with

    • State the goal: “Help me outline a short scene.”
    • Add context: “It is for a quiet, character-led story.”
    • Set a useful constraint: “Keep it under 300 words.”
    • Say what to avoid: “No dramatic twist at the end.”

For images or video, describe the subject, setting and mood. For code, include the language, the current behavior and the behavior you want. If the first response misses the mark, follow up with one clear adjustment at a time.

Ready to start? Ask anything, privately.
